Welcome to Killington Lake Motorway Services.

Opened in 1972, Killington Lake was one of the first Roadchef Motorway Service Areas and is now renowned for its peaceful and picturesque setting, hidden from the motorway by a man-made hill, ensuring a relaxing visit.

Overlooking Killington Lake, the views from both the restaurant and outside seating areas are stunning and even though the site is only accessed southbound on the M6, it is frequently used as a stop off point for customers travelling to and from the Lake District.

The lake is popular with water sport enthusiasts, offering great opportunities for dinghy sailing, windsurfing and canoeing and the bird reserve on the west side makes it an ideal location for birdwatchers.
